Shortly after the game's initial release on SNES, publisher Interplay had intended to develop a Genesis version, but decided against it in favor of concentrating on more powerful hardware. Sega 32X, Sega Saturn, and PlayStation 1 versions were announced, though of those, only the 32X version released.[45][46]
