Ports of the Amiga game Brutal Sports Football (1993) were announced for the Genesis, SNES, and Atari Jaguar. The Jaguar version was released in 1994, but the Genesis and SNES versions were delayed and never saw release. The Genesis version was far enough along to be reviewed in GamePro magazine, which, at the time, still used its original Beastball name.[31][32]
