ENGLISH Hello everyone I'm just starting to learn C development on SEGA GENESIS. I'm developing another game that seems cool to me and I regularly have my 7-year-old son test it. You're going to tell me: But what does this have to do with this game? The other day I went to the cinema with my son's class to see the cartoon: Calamity, a childhood of Martha Jane Cannary (a very good cartoon). My son loved the scene where Martha is chased by the sergeant and last week he said to me: Dad, wouldn't you like to make me a game about Calamity where she has to run away? Damn, we're just a few days away from Christmas, it's a good idea but I'm short on time so what can I do? I decided to continue my learning of development on GENESIS to make a small game in its entirety and of course to please him. So here is my first 100% finished game for GENESIS, made in a short week. I want to clarify that I am not a graphics designer so I managed as best I could with the little time I had. The two characters are a modification of a free character made by: Jonathan SO (thanks to him), everything else is done by myself. For the music due to lack of time I took the one from the game: Sunset rider and the sound effects come from the game Sonic On the other hand all the code is mine (like what you can be 50 years old, be quadriplegic and still learn programming on GENESIS and carry out a project 100%, so you no longer have an excuse not to do the same because dev is fun) I talk, I talk but what is this game It's a very simple game you just have to run away by jumping over obstacles A single button so accessible to everyone but super fun in 2 player mode At the top we count the number of victories, who will be the big winner? The sergeant or Martha? It's up to you to choose The game can also be played alone if the parents want to have some quiet time while the little one has fun ... Let yourself be tempted during the holidays because even if the game is simple (so that the whole family can play), it is really fun with the family The game is available for free, but as all work deserves its beer, I left a donation by default (it's up to you to see if I can have a drink for the holidays) Take care of yourself, your loved ones and your health because life goes by very quickly
