No ageless deity would content themselves with yet another 18 holes at St. Andrews or Pebble Beach, teeing off for the same shot that they have made literally thousands of times already. When you're a divinity, you BYOGC (Build Your Own Golf Course)., Let's experience the golf of gods! You and up to 3 friends collaborate on building your own course, and then vex each other as you try to get the ball into the hole. The rules are a little different, but any aspiring immortal will catch on quickly., How to Play, Building Phase, Players simultaneously drop their tiles onto the board. Each tile is divided into 4 sides, and each side will be made of one of the four elements:, Fairway, Rough, Sand, Tree, In order to place a tile:, The tile must be adjacent to at least one other tile (up, down, left, or right)The elements on each side of the tile must match the elements on adjacent tiles., If you complete an entire feature (e.g. complete all sides of a tree or a sand trap) then you will win the territory and your number will be painted on it., If you hold a tile for too long, it will be replaced by a different tile., Press A or C to rotate your tile. Press B to place it., Golfing Phase, When it's your turn to golf, use the left and right buttons to aim, the up and down buttons to change your club, and A, B, or C to confirm. After confirming your club and angle, you will press A, B, or C to set your power and accuracy., All players take turns hitting the same ball., If you get super frustrated, you can give up on a hole by pressing Start and then A+B+C at the same time., Scoring:, If you hit the ball into your territory, you get one point.If you hit the ball into your opponent's territory, your opponent gains one point.If you hit the ball closer to the hole than it has been before, you get a point.If you hit the ball into the hole, you get two points., While you're not golfing, you can honk a horn (button C) or fire a rocket (button B). Try not to be too obnoxious., The person with the most points after 9 holes wins., Technical:, , This is a Sega Genesis/Mega Drive rom. It supports 4-player using the EA "4 Way Play" protocol (also available using the Team Player version 2). It should work on real hardware using a flash cart or in emulation.
