The objective is simple: reach the end. Just make sure you remember where you were a second ago, or else IT will catch you! This hack also comes with a few quality-of-life features to make the challenge more bearable, most notably infinite lives and replacing all shields and extra lives with invincibility. It also includes some general QoL improvements.Backstory: A few days ago, the first Rayman game hit its 30th anniversary and was celebrated with a fancy rerelease. While that version had some controversy (most notably the original music being replaced), it made the creator very nostalgic. The original Rayman on PS1 was one of their childhood favorites, even though it was notoriously difficult. One of the gimmicks of the endgame is Dark Rayman, an evil clone that copies all of Rayman’s moves with a slight delay. This Sonic 1 hack tries to recreate that gimmick.
