This patch is a gameplay overhaul for Sonic The Hedgehog which gives each Chaos Emerald unique abilities that stack.A simple save function has also been implemented. How it Works:Each emerald you obtain from bonus stages will give the player new abilities.These abilities are as follows:First EmeraldPlayer 1 Gets one extra hit point per life before losing rings. (Does not stack with shields)Second EmeraldSpecial stages are now always open regardless of ring count.Third EmeraldPlayer 1 now has faster acceleration.Fourth EmeraldPlayer 1 can stay underwater for extremely long periods of time.Fifth EmeraldPlayer 1 now earns double rings in normal stages.Sixth EmeraldPlayer 1 can now jump higher.Extra Modifications:Spindash addedSpike bug fixedSpeed cap bug fixedSRAM:Saving:Game saves at each title card screen transition.Loading:At The Title Screen, Hold B and Press Start.Game Saves:Current Level and ActCurrent Emerald CountNOTE:Game will restart if no prior game save is detected. This is intentional as a checksum system in place.Game does not save on Green Hill Zone Act 1 to prevent accidental save overwrites.
