This is a hack of Sonic the Hedgehog for Sega Genesis. It adds some features to improve the game without altering the original levels. Features include:Multiple characters.New zone title/results font based on Sonic 3 title/results font.Some art from Sonic 3, such as the Sonic and Tails sprites, monitors etc.Spike damage behavior changed to that of Sonic 2.Timer ends after defeating a boss instead of after opening egg prison.The ability to carry leftover rings into the next act.Rebound after running into a wall at high speed.New and remixed music. The patch is in xdelta format due to shifted data resulting in IPS patches containing original code. The ROM should be in BIN format.A unstable version 2 was leaked and the author has since allowed it to be shared openly. It can be found here.
