A version of the 1992 MS-DOS game was announced for the SNES and Sega Genesis. While the SNES version morphed into a new separate game, Speed Racer in My Most Dangerous Adventures (1994), the Genesis version, despite reportedly 90% complete and scheduled for a September 1994 release, never materialized.[262][263]
