VARG is an action platformer for Sega's legendary 16-Bit console. In October 2025, I discovered the "Scorpion Engine" development platform and now want to realise my childhood dream of developing my own video game.This alpha demo represents my first steps in game development. It contains 16 stages and 5 music tracks, which I created with Deflemask.Note: The game runs on OG hardware and all common emulators. Unfortunately, it only runs with the handbrake on 50hz systems, which is particularly noticeable in the music.
